Keep Going and Growing

Continuing to learn and reflect through all seasons of life….

Busy Season

I took an intentional blog pause as I took an eight week online class at Liberty University which involved a lot of writing and editing. Much has happened since my last blog, including the passing of two (older) relatives. One of them was my grandma who was one of the healthiest adults I had in my life growing up. She filled a lot of gaps and taught me the importance of hugs. She would joke that the reason her hugs were so good was due to her big soft boobs. I’m not sure what made her hugs so great, but I know I felt safe in those arms! Sorrow was mixed with joy as my oldest son just got home from an internship in Africa. Even during busy seasons, events come up that require processing. My goal is to slow down a bit in the coming weeks and pause on the impact of our Savior’s birthday. I also want to reflect on the last year’s events and any changes that would be beneficial in the coming new year.

Optional journal prompt: What kind of year was 2024 for you? Are there any changes that would be beneficial for you and/or those you love in 2025?
